2-0 victory with goals from Dave Barrie and Jamie Start.
Took a while to settle again with several new faces playing together for the first time. Very few chances of note in the first half with Craig Lear tested a few times, particularly on corners and at the other end most chances being snuffed out with last ditch challenges. Half time 0-0, but shortly after the break chances went begging for both Shane and Ellis, before Dave Barrie shrugged off the attentions of a defender and poked the ball past the advancing keeper. The game became stretched as both sides tired in the heat and with 10 minutes remaining Jamie Start tapped in from close range after Kyle McDermott's cross/shot was tamely palmed into his path.
Good work out that gives both Kez and Matt plenty to think about.
