Underwood Villa 6 Linby CW FC Res 2 S. Russell, G. Towle
After a bright start by the Reserves, which saw new signing Steve Russell prominent, they concede a goal in the home sides first attack on 10 minutes, when veteran striker Steve Frogatt was left unmarked.
Froggatt then made it 2-0 on 25 minutes.
Russell curls in a lovely free kick to reduce the arrears on 30 minutes, 2-1.
Poor finishing from Linby, as they could and should have gone in at half time in front. HT 2-1
After 47 minutes, Russell's shot is inches wide of the post, as Linby start the second half how they finished the first.
Against the run of play, Froggatt completes his hat trick on 52 minutes to make it 3-1 and a minute later Linby concede a fourth goal.
Disaster on 68 minutes as after a period of pressure on the home goal, Underwood break and add a fifth goal.
On 75 minutess, Gaz Towle scores his second goal in 2 games to make it 5-2, but this is academic as two mins from time Underwood add salt into the wounds with a sixth goal.
Line-up (4-4-2) Guyatt/ Peel, Towle, Logan, Start/ Duffin, Ellis, Howell, Riley/ Ingram, Russell
Subs: Hamilton (for Duffin 70mins)
